Round up your friends and family and join SCCT on Saturday, June 27 for our annual San Carlos Scavenger Hunt, hosted by the Youth Advisory Board.
Everyone is welcome at this FREE event. Kids ages 5–85 will have a blast!
Teams will travel on foot through downtown San Carlos, following clues, solving puzzles, and completing crazy challenges along the way.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Check-In Opens at 9:15 am (early check-in recommended)

Team Information
- Teams may have 2–8 players
- Teams will compete in one of four divisions:
- Kids / Teens
- Adult
- Family
- Young Family (shorter hunt designed for families with children ages 7 and under)
Prizes will be awarded to the top team in each division.
All players under age 12 must be accompanied by at least one participant age 16 or older.
Transportation Rules
To keep the event safe and fair:
- No cars, electric scooters, or electric bikes allowed
- Non-electric bikes, scooters, skates, wagons, and strollers are permitted for participants ages 12 and under
Scoring & Prizes
Teams earn points for each completed challenge. The first team in each division to finish the hunt will receive an additional 100-point bonus.
The team with the highest score in each division will win a prize for its speed, teamwork, and creativity — but the biggest reward is the fun itself!
What You’ll Need
Each team should bring:
- 1 cell phone with text capability and camera
- Comfortable shoes
- A sense of humor

Advance registration is encouraged, but not required.
Teams that register before the event will receive a special team treat!
