What is the Youth Advisory Board?
SCCT’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is an all-volunteer group of energetic, fun-loving youth interested in helping improve our theater and become leaders. It offers students in grades 6-12 a chance to speak up on a variety of theater-related issues, as well as assist and run special events like the annual Movie Game Night, Party in the Park and Hometown Days Booth. YAB members will serve a one-year term, or longer if they choose. Participants are expected to participate during YAB special events, attend 6 YAB meetings a year, as well as special committee meetings when needed. Our goal is to have fun, introduce the community to SCCT, and help make SCCT the best youth theater on the Peninsula!
