Director/Acting Teacher
SCCT is looking for experienced teaching artists who are proficient in directing and teaching acting skills in class, camp and production programming with ages 5-18. Requirements:
– Candidate should have experience working with youth
– Candidate should be confident planning and executing lesson plans surrounding improv, basic theater skills and scripted work
– Candidate should be confident planning and executing a class or program by themselves
– Candidate should be proficient in acting skill building and classroom management
– Candidate should be confident collaborating with a vocal director and choreographer
– Candidate should be confident managing student parent and family relationships and communication
