Your Support Matters!
We are so grateful to you, our San Carlos Children’s Theater donors and business sponsors! Your donations fuel imaginations, spark smiles, and transform our community into a world of endless possibility.
As a non-profit organization, San Carlos Children’s Theater could not provide outstanding theatrical experiences for Peninsula youth and the community without the support of our donors. Registration fees and ticket sales just aren’t enough to cover expenses. To fill the gap, SCCT relies on foundations, companies, and individuals like you.
Donors receive special benefits and exclusive early access to mainstage show tickets. We recognize donors at the following levels in our show programs:
- Star Supporter: $150+
- Superstar Supporter: $350+
- Actor’s Circle: $500+
- Director’s Circle: $1000+
- Producer’s Circle: $2500+
Our goal for 2026 is to continue to grow our community, which directly touches thousands of people each year. In our most recent show program, we were thrilled to recognize 70 families at the Star Supporter level and above. By next year, our goal is to list 100 or more top donors. Here’s how you can help us reach that goal:
- Donate online and ask if your company matches
- Add a donation to your ticket purchases
- Consider a gift of stock (fill out this form to get started)!
- Consider promoting your local business as a business sponsor!
Curious about where your donations made an impact? Last year, we:
- Held 43 classes, 23 camps, 5 mainstage productions, 2 Ghostlight shows, and 1 community musical
- Began to upgrade our aging technical equipment with several new mics, walkie talkies, headsets, and a soundboard for off-site performances
- Partnered with the San Mateo County Pride Center to provide training and oversight to make sure our production of The Prom properly honored our LGBTQ+ community
- Ensured that our team of hardworking teaching artists and staff members receive a livable wage.
But our work is not finished! As always, we’re working to balance rising costs for facilities, materials, and labor while keeping program fees affordable to families.:
- Relocate back to San Carlos, making classes and shows more accessible for our local families and community
- Upgrade our aging website infrastructure to bring it up to date with current standards for maintenance and integration with other systems.
- Invest in critical production tech upgrades, including spotlights, mics, and headsets.
We hope you will help SCCT continue to thrive by making a donation this year. Donations of any size make a big difference! Every dollar helps enhance our performing arts education for youth on the Peninsula.
Thank you for being part of our SCCT family!
