AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Grades 3rd – 8th grade in Fall 2026. No prior experience required.
Everyone must participate in an acting/singing audition AND a dance audition. A one-minute song and monologue is required. No preparation needed for dance audition. Please see our Audition Tips for additional audition information.
Everyone who auditions and is able to meet rehearsal requirements will be cast.

REHEARSALS
Monday-Friday July 6-24 , 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
TECH REHEARSALS
July 25 & 26, 9:00 am-4:00 pm. July 28-30, 9:00 am-4:00 pm. No rehearsal July 27.

SYNOPSIS
Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he’s handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn’t be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.
FEE AND REQUIREMENTS
Registration Fee: $740 through May 11, 2026. $815 beginning May 12, 2026. 25-30 hours of parent participation are required. There are a limited amount of buyouts for parent hours available for this show for $700.
Refund Policy: No refunds on or after May 11, 2026. A $20 registration fee is non refundable.
