1. Staying Home When Sick
To protect the health of all students, staff, and families, performers must stay home if they exhibit any signs of illness—even mild symptoms. Before returning to rehearsals or classes, students must meet all of the following criteria:
-
Fever-Free: Temperature has been normal for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication (e.g., Tylenol, Motrin).
-
Symptom Improvement: Gastrointestinal symptoms (vomiting or diarrhea) have ceased for at least 24 hours.
-
Contagious Illnesses: If your child tests positive for a reportable contagious illness (e.g., COVID-19, flu, strep throat, pink eye), please notify management promptly so we can inform exposed groups while maintaining student privacy.
2. Face Coverings
In accordance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and local school district guidelines, wearing a mask is optional but welcomed during all indoor activities. We support each family’s choice regarding masking. For optimal protection, public health agencies recommend well-fitting, high-filtration options such as N95, KN95, or KF94 masks.
