In this playful introduction to musical theater, preschoolers will sing, dance, play theater games, and let their imaginations run wild in a fun and supportive environment. Budding performers will explore the basics of musical theater while building confidence, creativity, coordination, and a love of performing — from dancing to catchy songs to creating silly characters, every class is an opportunity to play, move, and shine! As the highlight of the session, performers will step into the colorful world of Trolls to learn a favorite song and dance number, which they’ll get to proudly show off for their families at a showcase on the final day.
Skills include: speaking in front of people, creativity/imagination, basic musical theater dance steps, projection and enunciation, memorization.
